they return home. This is a precious nest that will revitalize you and prepare you for new challenges.
The world outside is tumultuous as times, and tears and laughter tend to intermix when you least
expected. Tomorrow will forever remain a mystery, but the warmth and comfort of home will remain
unchanged through time. With this in mind, we began contemplating about whether a house can
withstand time with minimal changes and could the sentiments embodied be more profound and
genuine. And this pursuit remains the same as "Style Building" goes by.
Therefore, "Classical Architecture" is thus a good solution.
We imagine that the dreamy black and white setting by the fountain could reemerge on our
foundation, along with an imaginative arch, Neptune, the horses, and the magnificent rocky grotto.
These various adoring elements have surpassed time and space and have joined together at our home.
And what about happiness?
On one fine evening, with a cup of Häagen-Dazs ice cream in hand, I came to sit by the stones of
the fountain before the night falls. I quietly reflected the gorgeous memories I have accumulated
in Rome from my trips there all these years. I thought about the familiar Vespa sounds, as I savored
the sweetness of the ice cream and also my memories. I look forward to this "new house" acquiring
beautiful memories that are special to an "old house".
This collection of photographs is a response to "Style Building" ; it is a culmination of imaginations,
as well as the beginning of memories. We attempt to tell the story of a girl living in this space, and
with "tears" , "laughter" , "disappointments" , and "self-expectations" , a base that resembles "dreamy
imaginative sleepwalks" is formed, and this is our way of presenting the hopes we hold for "treasuring
original happiness" . In regards to the approach, Tony has utilized exquisitely delicate ways to portray
our anticipated story synopsis, and the outcome is breathtaking. The production excels in pushing
elements of imagination and entertainment to the extreme, and for a team like us that loves to play
and experiment with design, we' ve had quite an enjoyable time doing this. The completion of this
book could also be considered as the hope we hold for this building. Like the nal scene, the string
that is waved toward the sky will become our magic wand in life.
Perhaps, the wish that was made as a coin was tossed into the Trevi Fountain in Rome is not about a
"new or old house" , nor is it about "new or old architecture" , and the black and white image is certainly
not about debates over classical or modern schools of thoughts. What we unanimously care for is
simply "life" itself.
We build as we write: to keep in touch with what' s important to us
.
